PROMO: MOTHER-DAUGHTER RELATIONSHIPS: TRANSGENERATIONAL TRAUMA

Denise Williams is a Marriage and Family Therapist interning while becoming a graduate student at Antioch University. She received her Master degree in Clinical Psychology and is preparing for her licensing exam.

She is currently working in a private practice under Jean F. King, working primarily with cis-gender and transgender women and girls. She is hoping to help assist women in un-covering the un-truths that cause them mental anguish and empowers them to write a new narratives that will help allow them to live the life they choose to have.

She also inspired the "Me First" Philosophy, which teaches women of color to practice daily self-care that will allow them to improve their mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
